The Working Group of the Parties at its twenty-fourth meeting (1-3 July and 28–29 October 2020) adopted a number of outcomes, including with regard to draft documents for the seventh session of the Convention’s Meeting of the Parties. Comments submitted at and after that meeting in relation to these documents were made available on the meeting’s webpage.
The Working Group of the Parties requested the Bureau to prepare these documents in the light of the comments received for their submission to the twenty-fifth meeting of the Working Group for consideration and approval and subsequent submission to the Meeting of the Parties for consideration. The Working Group agreed that the draft documents will be circulated to Parties and stakeholders for comments prior to their finalization for the twenty-fifth meeting of the Working Group.
The Bureau considered the matter at its forty-seventh meeting and prepared the below documents for consultations.
Parties, non-governmental organizations, the general public and other interested stakeholders were invited to review the below draft documents and to provide the secretariat with their possible comments on the drafts. All responses had to be sent to the secretariat (aarhus.survey[at]un.org) before 18 February 2021.
