The 2021 Sustainable Energy Week featured the 30th Jubilee session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy and the 8th session of the Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency with a focus on concrete actions to attain energy for sustainable development.

The 30th Jubilee session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy was held from 22 to 24 September. The Committee endorsed steps to accelerate progress on the energy-related Sustainable Development Goals through an action agenda for UNECE.
The 30th session featured endorsement of the strategic review of the sustainable energy subprogramme, affirmation of the context and continuing work of the Pathways to Sustainable Energy Programme, and a discussion of UNECE member country commitments to energy in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement.
