Special session chaired by the Deputy Secretary-General

The special session was held back-to-back with the virtual Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region and focused on the regional UN support to SDG action and acceleration in Europe and Central Asia. The session also aimed at reviewing the status of repositioning the UN Development System in the region and at considering a draft joint work plan of the future Regional Collaborative Platform for Europe and Central Asia (RCP-ECA).
