The Small Group on the Industrial Safety of the Energy Transition, comprised of members of the Industrial Accidents Convention’s Bureau, held its second meeting on 16 April 2024. At the meeting, the secretariat presented the results of the survey prepared by the small group and a draft concept note for a seminar on industrial safety of the energy transition to be held at the thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Industrial Accidents Convention. The small group also discussed areas for strengthened work and draft decisions for consideration by the Bureau at its meeting in June 2024 and eventually for the Conference of the Parties in November 2024.
