The workshop, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Housing and Land Management Unit and Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, was held back to back with the Fourth international Energy Forum, which took place on 17 – 18 September.
This national workshop explored possibilities for the development of the national action plan on energy efficiency in housing sector as requested by the Government of Georgia in 2012. The workshop brought together Georgian key players in the fields of energy efficiency and housing
An outcome of this workshop was an elaborated outline of the National Action Plan on Energy efficiency in the residential sector. After the workshop a consultation with ministries and stakeholders was organized.
