The main substantive goal of the GGP is to improve understanding of demographic and social development and of the factors that influence these developments, with a particular attention towards relationships between children and parents (generations) and relationships between partners (gender).
The publication includes the following documents: (1) GGS Sample Design Guidelines; (2) GGS Wave 1 Questionnaire Manual; (3) GGS Wave 1 Questionnaire; and (4) a Note on the Definitions and Documentation of the Final Disposition Codes. The aim of this publication is to contribute to the dissemination and use of these programme instruments.
