Generations and Gender

About the Generations and Gender Programme

The Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) is a system of national Generations and Gender Surveys (GGS) and contextual databases, whose aim is to improve the knowledge base for policymaking in UNECE countries. The GGS is a panel survey of nationally representative samples of 18-79 year-old resident population in each participating country, with at least three panel waves and an interval of three years between each wave. The contextual databases are designed to complement the micro-level survey data with macro-level information on policies and aggregate indicators.

To find out more about the programme, use the menu on the left.  If you wish to access the survey data or contextual database, please visit the main GGP website.
