The UNECE hosted an exhibition of temporary housing to be used for people displaced by disasters from 10 September 2013 to 10 October 2013. The houses were donated by Canada and Estonia. More information on the houses is here. An opening ceremony for the event was held on 10 September. Representatives of Canada, Estonia, the UNECE and UN-Habitat discussed the importance of post-disaster housing in the UNECE region and beyond. |
