The meeting, held on 21 May 2014 in Copenhagen, was an important opportunity for organizations and others to meet and share ideas on how to improve land management. The objective, was to meet and share ideas and information in order to avoid the duplication of efforts and to identify areas for cooperation in order to improve land management throughout the UNECE region, which includes Europe, the former Soviet Union, Canada, Israel and the United States. We seek also to increase coordination between our organizations in planning studies, conferences, publications and other activities.
