The workshop is organized jointly by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), UN-Habitat,  United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and Swedish Think Tank - Global Utmaning. It will bring together representatives of the national and local governments of Ukraine, UN agencies and other international organizations, national and international experts, and representatives of NGOs and the academia.

The goal of the workshop is to strengthen national capacities of Ukraine for evidence-based policy-making for sustainable urban development with a focus on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development implementation on national and municipal levels.
