The programme is designed to help over 50 representatives of private and public companies from South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central, Northern, South-Eastern and Southern Asia, as well as the Russian Federation and Turkey better prepare and implement energy efficiency projects. It also aims at raising awareness about energy efficiency investments, including through public-private partnerships, among financing organizations.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn financial engineering and business planning skills to identify, select and develop energy efficiency investment projects and prepare bankable project proposals. Individual consultations with the facilitator, an international expert in the area of financing energy efficiency projects, will be available during the seminar and after its completion.
One of the sessions will be devoted to analysing real cases of energy efficiency projects financing by financial institutions and companies. Representatives of development and commercial banks, credit institutions and business companies will take part in this session.
The provisional agenda and other materials of the Training Course are available at: http://www.unece.org/index.php?id=32455.
