The ninth meeting of the Task Force on Target Setting and Reporting was held back to back with the Workshop on setting targets under the Protocol to support implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The main objectives of the ninth meeting of the Task Force were to:
- Follow up to the workshop on setting targets under the Protocol to support implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, to discuss future work under the Task Force in supporting Parties and other States in translating the goals and targets of the 2030 Agenda and other global and regional commitments into national targets and action.
- Review general progress by countries in setting and/or revising their targets and implementing them.
- Discuss the implementation of the Task Force’s programme of work for 2017-2019.
