Second meeting of the global network of basins working on climate change adaptation

The second meeting of the global network of basins working on climate change adaptation took place in Geneva on 13-14 February 2014. The meeting was organized in the framework of the UNECE Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (Water Convention) in cooperation with the International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO). It offered a platform for comparing methodologies and approaches, fostering exchange of experience and promoting a shared vision between the participating basins of the global network.The meeting’s objectives included discussing the preparation of the collection of good practices and lessons learned on climate change adaptation in transboundary basins and collecting specific input.
