UNDAF Information
The UNECE Sustainable Energy Division invited participants of UNDAF countries to participate in energy efficiency events including the extended bureau meeting of the group of experts on GEE21 project aimed at dissemination the UNECE knowledge and experience on design and implementation of energy efficiency investment projects. Government officials who are responsible for strategic planning for energy for sustainable development, formulation and implementation of national energy action programmes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan participated in the meetings. Policy makers from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the countries that are not participating in the FEEI project, expressed strong interest in getting actively involved in the GEE21 activities and taking advantage of the experience and knowledge accumulated by the FEEI project.
