The secretariat of the UNECE Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention) in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova and the United Nations Development Programme in Moldova shared experiences on the benefits for sustainable development of exercising the right to know through implementing the Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers and discussed the challenges ahead.
