The training session was organized by the Joint UNEP/OCHA Environment Unit, in cooperation with the secretariat of the UNECE Industrial Accident Convention secretariat, to support Georgia in mapping its industrial hazardous activities and thus to strengthen the capacity of the country to prevent, prepare for and respond to industrial accidents. The UNECE secretariat prepared and provided training materials on the identification of hazardous activities, which were used to train workshop participants
