Workshop on emission inventories

Following a workshop on emission inventories in 2015, UNECE organized a follow-up workshop in Tashkent. The workshop aimed to improve the skills of national experts in developing national emission inventories in accordance with the requirements of the Convention. The workshop agenda focused on the practical work with the country’s national data in relation to its priority activity sectors.  Seven national experts from different organizations (four of them female) participated in the workshop. The workshop helped national experts in enhancing their understanding of the reporting requirements under the Convention. The first NFR tables and outline of IIR were drafted for the 2018 reporting round. The activity was funded by the Russian Federation.
