Seventh meeting of Capacity Building Coordination

The seventh Aarhus Convention capacity-building coordination meeting took place in Salle XXI of Palais des Nations in Geneva on 15 June 2012.

The participants discussed the progress achived in capacity-building  activities related to the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters, the Protocol on Pollution Release and Transfer Registers and Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development in the light of the outcomes of the fourth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Aarhus Convention (Chisinau, 29 June – 1 July 2012). The participants also considered the progress in the implementation of the Convention's Strategic Plan 2009-2014.
