Final draft of the Water Sector Reform Strategy in Tajikistan was presented and discussed. It is foreseen that in June the strategy will be submitted for various ministries for comments. Proposed reforms involve institutional changes such as separating of policy-making and operational functions at national level and granting relevant decision-making powers to the levels of 4 river basins to be created. Final report on setting targets in the context of the protocol on water and health was presented.
