The 15th meeting of the Working Group on IWRM under the Water Convention was held in a hybrid format, and gathered more than 200 participants, experts representing governmental authorities, joint bodies, non-governmental as well as international organizations and other interested stakeholders, from the academia or the private sector.
The Working Group reviewed the progress in implementation of the Water Convention work programme for 2019–2021 and of decisions taken by the Meeting of the Parties at its 8th session (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, 10-12 October 2018). It discussed progress in the Convention’s global opening and began preparations for the 9th session of the Meeting of the Parties (Tallinn, Estonia, 29 September - 1 October 2021).
