The Annual meeting of the EU Water Initiative (EUWI) in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) Working Group took place on 24-25 October 2013 in Helsinki (Finland). It was co-organised by the Finnish Environmental Institute (SYKE), the OECD/Task Force for the Implementation of the Environmental Action Programme (the OECD/EAP Task Force) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
The meeting of the Working Group brought together senior officials representing water and environmental authorities from countries of Western, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, as well as international organisations, and donors.
The meeting presented an opportunity to review the implementation of National Policy Dialogues on integrated water resources management and on water supply and sanitation in EECCA countries.
