On 21 June 2023, the Special Envoy met with Dr. Ailan Li, Assistant Director-General for Healthier Populations of the WHO. The Special Envoy took the opportunity to congratulate Dr. Li for the recent appointment in Geneva, Switzerland and recalled the fruitful discussion they had in Phnom Penh in November 2022 when the Assistant Director-General was serving as Head of the WHO Office in Cambodia. The two representatives updated each other on respective activities and explored opportunities to collaborate.
