Background information
The project “Strengthening the capacity of the Kyrgyzstan National Trade Facilitation Council to implement the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement” seeks to enhance the capacity of Kyrgyzstan to develop an overall strategy and roadmap for effective implementation of priority measures under the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA). The project is expected to contribute to ‘building back better’ from the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic.
Objective
The objective of this workshop is to present and discuss the content of the draft National Trade Facilitation Roadmap. The National Trade Facilitation Roadmap will integrate recommendations and actions to mitigate the impact emanating from the pandemic. Participants of this workshop will include experts from both public and private sectors involved in trade facilitation in Kyrgyzstan.
