Meeting of the Partnership on Child- and Youth-friendly Mobility

29 November 2024 10:00 - 13:00

At the 5th High-level meeting of THE PEP in 2021, the Vienna Declaration was adopted, in which the 56 member states welcome the initiation of a new THE PEP Partnership on child- and youth-friendly mobility. The Partnership is coordinated by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection.

The focus of this Partnership meeting will be to discuss the structure and content of the planned THE PEP Policy Paper on Child- and Youth-Friendly Mobility. The policy paper was welcomed by the 22nd THE PEP Steering Committee Meeting in October 2024 and will serve as an important milestone to foster activities regarding child- and youth-friendly mobility in THE PEP member states.

A proposal for the structure and content of the policy paper will be submitted to all registered participants prior to the meeting.

Representatives of THE PEP Member States and other organizations and individuals working or interested in child- and youth-friendly mobility have been invited.
