The UNECE Global workshop on building climate resilience through improving water management and sanitation at national and transboundary levels hosted a session on Disaster Risk Reduction and Transboundary Cooperation: The UNECE Industrial Accidents Convention contributed in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB), with 2 presentations:
- Preventing accidental water pollution: joint action by the Water and Industrial Accident Conventions - Mr. Bojan Srdic, co-Chair of the Joint Expert Group on Water and Industrial Accidents from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia;
- Perspectives on reducing disaster risk and managing health impacts in a changing climate - Mr. Max Linsen, Consultant on environmental affairs for the EIB.
