The 2nd meeting of the Expert Group was held in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 27-28 September 2019, hosted by the Government of Cyprus. The experts discussed the content and the comments received on the draft Concept Note and the draft Work Plan for the new post-2019 implementation framework, submitted for discussion at the 14th session of the UNECE Steering Committee on ESD held in Geneva on 2 - 3 May 2019. The experts agreed on elaborating further the text of the documents and to discuss it at the eventual 3^rd meeting of the Ad hoc group to be organised in 2020 before the 15^th meeting of the Steering Committee scheduled for 7-8 May 2020 in Geneva.
