UNECE announces the members of the Jury of the Ideas for change Award

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has introduced the members of the jury of the Ideas for Change Award. The jury, led by Christian Friis Bach, Executive Secretary of the UNECE, will be composed by:
-Brigitte Baumann - Founder and CEO of Go Beyond Early Stage Investing
-Frédérick Bordry - CERN’s Director of Accelerators and Technology 
-Ivan Bortnik - Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Foundation for Assistance to  Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE)  
-Marco Cantamessa - President and CEO of I3P Innovative Enterprise Incubator of  Politecnico di Torino
-Sharon Kedmi - Co-founder and CEO of Demeter-AWE Holdings
-Louise Pulford - Director of Social Innovation Exchange (SIX)
The members of the jury are highly–recognized professionals representing a wide range of sectors, such as business, science, academia and policy making (read more). Together with the UNECE delegates from the 56 member states, the Expert jury will select the three winning proposals of the Ideas for Change Award among all the finalists. The official ceremony will take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, on the occasion of the UNECE 66th Commission Session.
 
The first edition of the UNECE Ideas for Change Award aims at promoting startup companies developing products or new solutions for sustainable development and green economy. Submissions of proposals will be accepted until 28 February and the projects can be sent by applying online through the UNECE Webpage http://www.unece.org/ideas4change/how-to-apply.html
