On 3 October 2022, the Special Envoy contributed to the World Habitat Day 2022 “Mind the gap. Leave no one and no place behind” event organized by the UN-Habitat and the authorities of Balikesir, Türkiye. Throughout his speech, the Special Envoy emphasized the important role of cities as the place for action and implementation to achieve the 2030 important goals.
