On 26 January 2021, the Special Envoy jointly met with H.E. Mr. Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to United Nations in Geneva and Ms. Olga Algayerova, Executive Secretary of the UNECE.
On the occasion, the Special Envoy congratulated the Ambassador on the commitment of the State of Qatar to road safety. Furthermore, they discussed about the UNRSF and explored ways to share values. As a representative of the UNRSF Advisory Board and as a country investing in sustainable development, the State of Qatar could play a major role by contributing to reduce one of the main causes of mortality in the world, and transform lives while improving the environment for the young generations.
