On 1 November 2022, following the meeting held in October, H.E. Ms. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Permanent Representative of Thailand to the UN Office at Geneva hosted an event in honour of the Special Envoy, and in preparation of his travel to South-East Asia.
On the occasion, the Special Envoy spoke about the road safety situation in the Southeast Asian region and beyond. The Special Envoy also encouraged support to the UNRSF and informed on the upcoming missions to Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam to happen later in the month. The following guests were also in attendance:
