The TIR Executive Board (TIRExB), a subsidiary body of the TIR Administrative Committee (AC.2), supervises and provides support in the application of the TIR procedure at the national and international level. It is composed of 9 members, each from a different Contracting Party to the TIR Convention, who are elected for a two year term of office.
The next TIRExB election will take place in the course of the seventy-fourth session, on 11 February 2021 (subject to confirmation) of the TIR Administrative Committee (AC.2). The UNECE TIR secretariat would appreciate receiving nominations of candidates who wish to stand for election as members of TIRExB. Nominations should be made by the candidate's government or organization being a contracting party to the TIR Convention and should reach the UNECE TIR secretariat not later than on 15 December 2020, 0.00 hours Geneva time.
