In line with a decision by the TIR Administrative Committee, the on-line International TIR Data Base (ITDBonline) has been amended and now also provides information on TIR Carnet holders who have been excluded from the TIR system in another country than the country in which they are resident or established (Article 38 of the TIR Convention). Information on exclusions is available to TIR Customs Focal Points only, at the password protected ITDBonline website, using the following link: https://unece.unog.ch/itdbonline/secure/index.asp
Contracting Parties are reminded that they are obliged to notify the TIR Executive Board within one week of any exclusion under Article 38 of the Convention ([email protected] or fax +41 22 91 70 614).
