UNECE-led Partnership to improve energy efficiency of the building supply chain in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia 

A UNECE-led partnership will improve energy efficiency of the global building supply chain and its products to deliver high performance buildings in seven UNECE member States: Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. 

UNECE initiates work on the Innovation for Sustainable Development Review of Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan has shown remarkable growth in its transition from a centrally planned to a market based economy, with annual growth rates between 5 and 9 per cent since 2004. Innovation, namely fostering experimentation and collaboration between innovation stakeholders to find new ways for creating value, will be important to maintain sustainable growth.
