Currently Head of Group Vodafone External Affairs Strategy, Pedro works directly under Joakim Reiter, Group External Affairs Director and a member of the group ExCo. Pedro’s prime responsibilities are to understand the long term trends in the External Environment and ensure the links between the team and the business, to help steer External Affairs priorities and engagement to help us shape the Group’s future.Pedro joined Vodafone in Portugal in 2014 where, reporting to the local CEO he had roles in strategy and external Communications. Pedro is also a non-executive director in the board of SportTV a premium Sports TV company, where Vodafone holds and equity stake. Prior to Vodafone he has more than 18 years of experience, most of which in Government supporting functions (7yearsof which half leading the international assistance program’s (COM/ECB/IMF) PMO team at the Portuguese Prime Minister’s office), strategy consulting (7 years) and TMT both as a line manager and as an entrepreneur. Pedro holds a Licenciatura in Economics (Nova School of Business and Economics).
