On 20 November 2022, the Special Envoy contributed to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims online event, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), among the other efforts. This year’s edition featured statements from the WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and other dignitaries from the UN and civil society, testimonials from bereaved mothers from Ireland and Nigeria, and an artistic intervention in two parts. Throughout his words, the Special Envoy stood in solidarity with all the victims and mentioned “We do not want more victims to remember, we want to live our lives together”.
