The Special Envoy held bilateral meetings on the side-lines of the 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, taking an opportunity to call for urgent action, especially in low- and middle- income countries where the impact is the highest. During the meetings, the Special Envoy promoted accession to and successful implementation of UN road safety conventions as well as encouraged support to the UNRSF.
