NORWAY
Eva Vinje Aurdal was was elected the mayor for Ålesund in October 2015. She represents «Arbeiderpartiet», the Norwegian labour party. Born in 1957, she trained and worked as a teacher for over 30 years in Oslo and Ålesund. Since 2004, she has been a member of Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune, the county council. In two different periods, she has served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament. | ||
BULGARIA Ruska Boyadzhieva is Deputy Mayor of Burgas Municipality since 2015. Her main duties are related to coordination of all European policies and programmes endorsed by the city of Burgas, and activities related to environmental protection. She has important contribution to the elaboration of some of the major strategic documents of the municipality related to urban development and planning, sustainable mobility, sustainable energy etc. Before being elected as Deputy Mayor, Mrs. Boyadzhieva has been working for nearly 10 years for different NGOs managing numerous EU and internationally funded projects. | ||
REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA Konstantin Georgievski is the acting mayor of city of Ohrid since December 2018. He has previously served as a deputy mayor of Ohrid, and an advisor to the Municipality. Mr. Georgievski is a trained Doctor of Medicine, having completed his formal education and specialization at St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. He also had professional medical training at the University of Helsinki and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Mr. Georgievski has been working in his own private health institution since 2007.Mr. Georgievski is a member of the Socio-Democratic party of the Republic of North Macedonia. In his spare time, the mayor enjoys mountain climbing. | ||
SLOVAKIA
Lucia Stasselova became a member of the City parliament of Bratislava in 2014 and was reelected in 2018 and became Deputy Mayor. She is responsible for social strategies and rental social housing. | ||
