UNECE is implementing extrabudgetary project “Improving national capacity on renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) technologies for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and households in North Macedonia.” This project is part of a Joint Programme “Green Finance Facility to Improve Air Quality and Combat Climate Change in North Macedonia” (GFF) financially supported by the UN Joint SDG Fund and the Government of North Macedonia, and is being implemented through partnership between UNDP, EBRD, IOM, UNECE and local banks in North Macedonia.
The Programme provides access to affordable green financing for small and medium enterprises and marketable but underserved target groups of individuals/households for investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions.
This workshop is a follow-up to the training seminar held in November 2023, with the current focus on project consultants engaged to support individual applicants from the target groups accessing finance through GFF (Outcome 2).
