41st UN/CEFACT Forum: Focus on mid-stream Asian CRM supply chain actors (challenges & opportunities)
41st UN/CEFACT Forum: Focus on mid-stream Asian CRM supply chain actors (challenges & opportunities)

Agenda
Join us on October 3, 2023, at 10:30 AM ICT for an interactive discussion about how ESG regulations in consuming countries are affecting mid-stream Asian CRM supply chain actors, such as manufacturers, smelters, and processors. This event will be facilitated by the UN/CEFACT Critical Raw Materials Traceability and Sustainability Project.
Critical raw materials (CRMs) play a vital role in the transition to digital technology and cleaner energy sources. Across the globe, new regulations are requiring participants in CRM supply chains to demonstrate their sustainable practices if they want to engage in import and export markets.
Building upon Part 1: Introduction to the Critical Raw Material Traceability & Sustainability Project, this session will enable the collaborative design of supply chain pathways and information flow. Attendees will have the chance to discuss the challenges of sharing business information publicly and explore ways to enhance trust and efficiency in global data sharing.
