The Study Tour to Germany was organized within the framework of the project “Strengthening national and regional capacities and co-operation on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) in Central Asia, including as a response to climate change” implemented by OSCE and UNECE to provide the national experts from Central Asian countries with best practice examples on the application of SEA in the strategic planning process in one of the Parties of the Protocol (Germany) and to offer a forum for the exchange of experience on SEA among experts in the region.
