TEMPERATE AND BOREAL FOREST RESOURCES ASSESSMENT (TBFRA-2000)
The Team of Specialists on the Temperate and Boreal Forest Resources Assessment (TBFRA-2000) met at the end-March 1999 in Geneva to discuss and review the first draft Main TBFRA-2000 Report.

The draft Main TBFRA-2000 Report, which includes at this stage the "Introduction", a section on the "Reliability and Comparability of the TBFRA-2000 Data", six main thematic Chapters and more then 80 main summary tables, was sent to members of the Team and all the officially nominated TBFRA National Correspondents, just before the ToS meeting in March. At present the secretariat is receiving from national corespondents, remarks, comments and proposals for further improvements and corrections to the draft Report.
The draft Main TBFRA-2000 Report (more than 250 pages, plus about 100 pages containing comments to the national data), is not being distributed for practical and technical reasons. Working Party delegates wishing to consult the draft TBFRA are invited to contact their national TBFRA correspondent(s) (See the List ) to obtain a copy of this first draft report. Changes to the draft will be reported orally to delegates attending the Working Party session.
