The objective of the training session within the project on evaluation of safety reports was to build up the knowledge of authorities from Croatia, Serbia and fYR of Macedonia in evaluating safety reports. The project was designed to provide the basis for future steps to be taken by the countries to improve the quality of safety reporting and evaluation. In the context of this project a checklist system was developed for the evaluation of safety reports, but can be also used for further improvement of policies for the prevention of industrial accidents, for the preparation of guidelines and trainings for operators of hazardous activities.
