The third meeting of the Project Management Group (PMG) is organized under the project on hazard and crisis management in the Danube Delta. The project, involving the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Romania, aims at enhancing and where possible harmonizing the mechanisms and approaches for efficient and effective hazard and crisis management between the three project countries in the Danube Delta. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and by the German Federal Environment Agency with means of the Advisory Assistance Programme for Environmental Protection in the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. Additional support is provided by other donors.

At the third PMG meeting, project countries should review the follow-up to actions agreed on during the last PMG meeting in September 2012 and take appropriate measures, in case. They should also agree on details for the implementation of further project activities in 2013, such as the joint visit to Ukraine, the second technical workshop on hazard management or the table-top exercise.
