A side event on "UNECE tools and approaches for preventing accidental water pollution and its transboundary consequences" was held from 8.30 am to 9.45 am on 18 November 2015 at the Budapest Congress Center, Jagelló street 1-3, H-1123 Budapest, Hungary (www.bcc.hu). The side event was organized by Hungary and Germany, in cooperation with the UNECE Industrial Accidents Convention secretariat, in the framework of the seventh session of the Meeting of the Parties of the UNECE Water Convention.
