The tenth meeting of the Task Force on Target Setting and Reporting under the Protocol on Water and Health was held at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, from 24 to 25 April 2018.
The main objectives of the tenth meeting of the Task Force were to:
- Discuss developments with regard to the implementation and follow up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda) and it particular its SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation and SDG 3 on good health and well-being.
- Review progress by countries in setting and/or revising their targets under the Protocol on Water and Health and implementing them.
- Discuss the preparation of the practical guide for joint implementation of the Protocol on Water and Health and the 2030 Agenda.
- Discuss opportunities for raising public awareness, access to information and public participation under the Protocol.
- Initiate preparations for the fourth reporting cycle under the Protocol.
