Workshop on Water Governance and International Water Law in Africa

The training on Water Governance and International Water Law (IWL) for improved transboundary water management in Africa was organized by the Global Water Partnership (GWP) together with Makerere University (Uganda), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the African Network for Basin Organizations (ANBO), WaterNet, the Geneva Water Hub and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

The aim of the training was to improve transboundary water management in Africa by strengthening the capacities of institutions and basin organizations.

The training was conducted in both English and French with simultaneous interpretation.
