The nineteenth meeting of the Compliance Committee under the Protocol on Water and Health was the first meeting of the Committee in the new triennium 2020-2022.

The Committee discussed its work for the next three years, in particular with regard to the review of compliance with the obligations to set targets and report under the Protocol; consultations with Parties to facilitate implementation of the Protocol; and awareness-raising on the compliance procedure and cooperation with human rights bodies.

The Committee welcomed the new members that were elected at the fifth session of the Meeting of the Parties (Belgrade, 19-21 November 2019).
