This workshop is part of a larger project, which is implemented from 2014 until 2017, and will support sustainable housing in four selected countries with economies in transition (Armenia, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Tajikistan) by assisting their national governments in the formulation and implementation of relevant policies and by developing National Action Plans for Sustainable Housing and Urban Development.
The workshops are policy oriented; they are to support discussion on implementation and development of policies on housing and urban issues.

Launch event of the Country Profile on Housing and Land Management of the Republic of Moldova.
The launch of the UNECE Country Profile on Housing and Land Management of the Republic of Moldova will be held on 8 September 2015. The Country Profile provides a detailed analysis of the housing, urban development and land management situation in the country and puts forward practical recommendations to the Government on how to improve the country’s housing and land policies.
The meeting will discuss the Country Profile findings and policy recommendations and it will also outline proposals for specific actions to implement the recommendations and promote the reforms in the housing sector, urban development and land management.
