On World Habitat Day, 5 October 2015, the UNECE Housing and Land Management Unit, in collaboration with Cittadellarte Foundation (Biella, Italy), opened the “Art for Smart Sustainable Cities” exhibition. The exhibition was open from 5 to 24 October. The exhibition closed on the inauguration day of the Rebirth Sculpture, a project by Cittadellarte Foundation and Maestro Michelangelo Pistoletto, at the Ariana Park.
The exhibition demonstrated creative and artistic approaches to interpreting and communicating urban development challenges. It also informed about important UN documents and events promoting sustainable urban development.
