The research mission in Ukraine and the workshop in Voznesensk are part of the project “United Smart Cities”. The activities in Voznesensk were implemented from 2017 to 2018 and resulted in the elaboration of the Smart Sustainable City Profile first and then, of the Action Plan for the city of Voznesensk.
The research mission allowed local and international experts, local and national authorities and stakeholders to discuss and draw an overview of the city’s issues and needs of citizens, which were used for the development of the city profile. At the same time, it verified the data on the Key Performance Indicators for Smart Sustainable Cities collected by the municipality.
